Hodes Weill & Associates acted as the exclusive placement agent to Actis GP LLP (“Actis”) in connection with the private placement of interests to certain investors in Actis Asia Real Estate Fund II, LP (the “Fund”), an opportunistic fund that will primarily invest in digital and logistics assets across high growth markets in Asia.

OUTCOME/RESULTS

Actis closed its second Asia-focused real estate fund with more than $700 million of capital (representing fund and co-investment commitments) from a diverse set of global institutions. AAREF II will seek to invest opportunistically to create a portfolio focused on data center and logistics assets across growth markets in Asia including China, Korea, Southeast Asia and India, supported by secular tailwinds including digital disruption, demographic shifts, deficient real estate supply, and demand for yield.
