ASSIGNMENT

 

Hodes Weill Securities, LLC acted as global placement agent for Avestus Capital Partners (“Avestus”) in connection with the capitalization of an investment partnership focused on residential development in Ireland (the “Partnership”). Avestus, a leading European real estate investment and asset manager, has a track record of partnering with high-quality institutional capital partners, and were seeking a new like-minded partner to commit to this strategy.

 

OUTCOME/RESULTS

The Partnership was formed with €200 million of committed equity capital from a US-based institutional investor. Hodes Weill highlighted Avestus’ track record in residential development in Ireland, and the supply/demand imbalance in the Irish housing sector, in marketing to institutional investors in North America, Asia and Europe. Hodes Weill advised on the structuring of the Partnership, which will continue Avestus’ strategy of acquiring land in Ireland for residential construction, predominantly in the Greater Dublin Area.
