ASSIGNMENT

 

Hodes Weill & Associates acted as global placement agent to GreenOak Real Estate (“GreenOak”), a global real estate investment management and advisory firm, in connection with the private placement of interests in GreenOak Asia Fund II (the “Fund”).

 

OUTCOME/RESULTS

The Fund is GreenOak’s second real estate fund formed to invest in the repositioning, redevelopment, re-leasing and refurbishment of primarily office assets located in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Hodes Weill sourced equity commitments from a number of institutional investors adding to GreenOak’s existing investor base. The Fund is comprised of a diverse group of investors, including public and private pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, fund of funds and family offices, and held a final closing in February 2016 at $655 million, surpassing its $500 million target.
