ASSIGNMENT

 

Hodes Weill & Associates acted as financial advisor to Landmark Partners in connection with the formation and capitalization of a programmatic joint venture with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. The venture will seek to invest approximately $1 billion in total capitalization ($500 million of equity) to acquire and operate value-add student housing properties for long-term ownership in targeted US markets.

OUTCOME/RESULTS

Landmark formed the vehicle with ADIA, a longstanding partner, to substantially fully capitalize its value-add acquisitions strategy for the next two to three years. The highly strategic venture is structured for a long-term hold.
