Hodes Weill Securities, LLC acted as exclusive financial advisor to Lionstone Investments in connection with a US$250 million capitalization of a programmatic joint venture. Lionstone, a leading privately owned real estate investment firm, was seeking a partner to execute a core-plus strategy to invest primarily in office properties in high-growth U.S. markets.

Hodes Weill capitalized on Lionstone’s ability to conceptualize and execute national investment strategies based on proprietary data interpretation and ideas, and identified a like-minded, research-oriented, UK-based investor to form the joint venture. Hodes Weill advised on the structuring of the vehicle, including building in flexibility for longer-term holds and the potential for additional capital partners.
