Robert Rivett is a private investor based in San Francisco. He has more than 30 years experience in private equity and banking, including his industry leading role in private equity fundraising throughout his career. Most recently, he was appointed by The Jefferies Investment Bank to assist in the expansion of its Helix Associates division, a leading global private equity fund placement agent. Previously, he was a co-head of the Private Fund Group of Credit Suisse, and a founding partner and co-head of the Private Fund Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, prior to its acquisition by Credit Suisse First Boston. Before joining DLJ, Mr. Rivett spent 10 years at Merrill Lynch.
