Hodes Weill & Associates Adds Three Professionals to Real Estate Advisory and Principal Investme
Hodes Weill & Associates (“Hodes Weill”), a global advisory and principal investment business focused on the real estate private equity and private funds industry, today announced that Stuart Baldwin, Adam Handwerker and Tim McDermott have joined the firm.

They are important additions to our firm as we expand our business and provide the strategic advice and capital required for managers, investors and lenders to navigate the difficult market issues they currently face,” said Doug Weill, co-founder and Managing Partner of Hodes Weill.
Ms. Baldwin joins Hodes Weill as a Principal from Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Investment Group (“REIG”), where she was a Vice President. Previously, Ms. Baldwin was an Associate of real estate private equity firm Black Creek Group, which focused on creating and managing real estate operating companies. Ms. Baldwin began her career as an Analyst in Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Private Fund Group (“REPFG”), the bank’s third-party real estate fund raising business. Ms. Baldwin received her BS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before joining Hodes Weill as an Associate, Mr. Handwerker was a member of REIG’s Customized Fund Investment Group with responsibility for the origination and due diligence of indirect real estate investments. Previously, Mr. Handwerker was an Associate in REPFG. Mr. Handwerker received a BS from Cornell University and a M.Sc. in real estate finance from New York University.
Mr. McDermott also joins Hodes Weill as an Associate from REIG. Prior to this, Mr. McDermott was an Analyst in REPFG. He began his career at Cohen & Steers, where he worked in the Institutional Marketing and Client Service group. Mr. McDermott received his BS from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
